Music teacher required.
The Peri Group is seeking a passionate and dedicated Music PPA Teacher to join our vibrant primary school community. As a Music PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality music education to students. Currently we have two days of PPA available, with an hourly rate of £25.00 to £27.50 available.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive music lessons to primary school students during their regular teachers' planning, preparation, or assessment time.
- Develop and implement a well-structured curriculum that aligns with national standards and caters to the needs and abilities of students at various levels.
- Foster a love for music by creating a positive and stimulating learning environment.
- Use a variety of teaching methods, resources, and technologies to enhance students' understanding and appreciation of music.
- Encourage active participation in music-related activities such as choir, ensemble groups, and performances.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing timely feedback and supporting individual growth.
- Promote a safe and inclusive environment, ensuring equal opportunities for all students.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in teaching music to primary school students.
- Proficiency in playing at least one musical instrument.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and teachers.
- Creativity and adaptability to deliver dynamic and engaging music lessons.
- Ability to plan and organise lessons effectively, including resources and materials (support Will be offered in this area).
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with current educational practices.
