We are based in Lincolnshire with navigation courses, day walks and night hikes all over the Lincolnshire Wolds and more recently Nottingha

mshire. The organise events all over the U.K. on the popular mountain areas and less well known adventures. We like to add value by enthusing about natural history and bring the walk to life. People who join our events maybe have hiked before but wish to learn to map read, want the hassle taken out of organising, want to join a group, want reassurance on a scramble eg on Tryfan/ Crib Goch or Helvellyn. Or they may be new to hill walking and want the reassurance of a Leader particularly at night. You can expect a warm welcome, an inclusive event, experienced and passionate staff who are fully insured and qualified.

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞?
I get asked weekly how long will “inset walk” take. And I understand why you’d like a finish time.

The challenge is if I’ve never met the group I can’t be sure! There’s good formulas for anticipating duration, my experience too, there predictable delays like terrain, steepness and breaks but there’s variables such as the group, the weather, unforeseen injuries that might add time (or indeed reduce time).
In any case we won’t be rushing, it’s always inclusive, supportive and theres an element of presentness and engagement rather than racing about!
I’ll have a good idea, we might be later if the group have difficulty though!

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Fife!

Many of our walks are in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Lincolnshire (obviously) and North Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 as it’s an area we know well. Each year I spent a week in Fife, and am keen to add this to our calendar in future! The Fife Coastal Path is full of great beaches, nature reserves, dramatic coastline, quaint villages and harbours!

Who’d be up for back packing the Fife Coastal Path, or a bird tour, or an organised Fife holiday?

WhatsApp Community Chat

We’ve had lots of queries about things like lift sharing. Not only is it cheaper and helpful for people who can’t easily get to events, but it’s also much more environmentally friendly. 🌱

We’re also sure there are plenty of simple little questions you might have but feel a bit awkward asking!

I’ve been wondering for a while about the best way to coordinate all of this, so I’ve decided to create a WhatsApp group where you can chat with me and other trip participants.

For example:

“I fancy doing a Snowdon sunrise, but I don’t want to drive. I’m happy to contribute towards fuel — is anyone going from Lincoln?”

You get the idea!

It’ll also be an easier way for me to share things like discounts, PDFs and other useful bits of information, rather than emailing everyone separately.

This is completely OPT-IN. If you’d like to join the WhatsApp chat, just drop me a message with your mobile number and I’ll add you!
