A little bit of my why 💛

I don’t teach baby signing just because I love it — although I really do.

I do it because I know what it’s like to feel unsure and a bit lost. Communication can be tricky in those early months, and finding a gentle, pressure-free way to connect makes all the difference.

Baby signing gives babies a way to communicate in their own time, and it gives parents confidence — confidence that they can understand their little ones and connect with them deeply.

Watching babies realise they can be understood, seeing those first little signs… it’s pure joy, and it never gets old.

If you have a baby, I honestly believe this is something every family deserves to know about. It can make those early months calmer, more connected, and a little less overwhelming.

Sometimes it’s the tiniest things that remind me why I love baby signing so much. ❤️

A baby signing “milk” for the first time.

A toddler learning to tell you they’re finished.

A little one pointing to something they want and finding a way to make themselves understood.

These moments might seem small, but for parents they can be HUGE.

Baby signing isn’t about expecting your baby to sit still and copy you perfectly. It’s about giving them another way to communicate while their words are still developing.

And honestly? Watching that little lightbulb moment when they realise “you understand me!” never gets old. 🥹
