This week, 6F took part in an engaging rail safety workshop delivered by Network Rail. The session helped children understand the dangers around the railway and taught them how to stay safe near tracks, stations and level crossings.

To reinforce their learning, the children created informative rail safety posters to share these important messages with others. Well done, 6F, for your thoughtful work and enthusiasm throughout the workshop!

Thank you to all of the parents and carers that attended the KS1 plant sale yesterday. The children were so excited to see you there and were proud to show you the plants we were selling. We raised around £185, which will be put towards some new equipment for our outdoor areas. Bishop King School has such an amazingly supportive community. Thank you again!

Year 5 had a fantastic day visiting the National Space Centre yesterday to further embed our Science knowledge about Earth and Space. We explored each of the interactive exhibits, participated in a quiz-based planetarium show about the solar system, and even saw some real-life rockets!
