🎹 Unlock the joy of playing piano

Learning the piano is far more than picking up an instrument — it’s a deeply rewarding skill that can bring joy, pride, and fulfilment for a lifetime.

If you’re a complete beginner, you’ll quickly discover the satisfaction of playing your first simple melodies — the kind you can recognise, share with family, or play just for yourself after a long day. If you’re a returning player, you’ll be surprised how quickly your hands and memory come back, allowing you to rebuild old favourites and finally play the pieces you once thought were out of reach.

It builds real, everyday confidence as you notice tangible progress week by week, sharpens your focus so you can concentrate better in work or study, and improves coordination in a way that makes everyday tasks feel more effortless. Most importantly, it gives you a personal space to unwind — sitting at the piano becomes a way to switch off from screens, reduce stress, and express emotions when words don’t quite fit.

If you’re starting from scratch or rediscovering an old passion, it’s never too late to surprise yourself with what you can achieve.

🎶 Learn piano. Build a skill that enriches your daily life. Create music that moves you.

Tutor profile

Hi there! I’m a friendly, DBS-checked music tutor with experience offering one-to-one Piano, Clarinet and Music Theory lessons for all ages and abilities. Whether you’re a complete beginner, working towards ABRSM exams, or learning for enjoyment, I tailor each lesson to your goals and learning style.

I trained in Piano and Clarinet at Chetham’s School of Music in Manchester, where I developed my classical performance skills and musical foundation. I am also an active freelance musician and continue to develop my professional practice alongside my teaching.

As a performer, I’ve played at venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Bridgewater Hall, Cadogan Hall and the Royal Academy of Music, and I have experience working in pit orchestras and theatre bands for professional productions.

I’m really passionate about helping students build confidence, develop their skills and enjoy making music. If you’re thinking about starting lessons, I’d love to hear from you—send me a message to book a trial lesson or have a chat about what you’re looking for! 🎵
