π‘οΈ We've been putting our Thermapen Thermometer to good use on our Adult Learning Courses! π©βπ³π¨βπ³
One of the biggest cooking tips we share is learning to cook by temperature rather than time. Not only does this help take the guesswork out of cooking, but it also means you'll know exactly when your food is safely cooked and perfectly done every time. πβ¨
Whether you're roasting meat, baking bread, or trying out new recipes, a reliable thermometer can make all the difference in the kitchen.
We stock a range of Thermapen products in our shop, so you can bring the same professional tool we use on our courses into your own home. π‘π΄

Whether it's sharing a meal with family, catching up with friends over lunch, or swapping recipes with neighbours, food creates connections and conversations that help us feel part of a community.
That's the idea behind our Food for Sharing course.
Over two friendly and relaxed sessions, you'll work alongside others to create a variety of delicious dishes, learn new skills, share ideas, and enjoy the social side of cooking. Best of all, you'll have plenty of tasty food to take home and enjoy. π₯β¨

A wonderful end to a fantastic course! ππ

For our second Food for Sharing session, we took inspiration from Chinese dishes.π₯’ The group prepared a delicious sweet and sour chicken and a vibrant vegetable chow mein, using fresh ingredients and making their sauces completely from scratch. It was amazing to see everyone's confidence growing! πΆοΈπ₯

Once again, the group mastered sweet and sour chicken and vegetable chow mein, before taking things back old-school with a pear, ginger and cinnamon bread and butter pudding ππβ¨. A perfect combination of modern flavours and traditional favourites!
A huge well done to everyone who joined us last week. We love seeing learners develop new skills, try new recipes, and share great food together. We can't wait to see what next week brings! β€οΈπ¨βπ³
