We had a fantastic time at Make Fresh Pasta from Scratch, learning the art of turning a few simple ingredients into something delicious from scratch.

From mixing and kneading the dough to shaping our pasta, it was brilliant to see everyone getting involved, sharing a few laughs and discovering just how satisfying it is to make something from scratch. There’s something special about slowing down, learning a new skill and enjoying the process together.

And no pasta-making evening would be complete without great company and a glass (or two) of wine. 🍷

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a fun and memorable evening. We hope you went home with new skills and enjoyed eating your homemade pasta! ❤️🍝

Today will be filled with the aroma of delicious dishes as we explore Techniques From a Professional Kitchen at The Village Church Farm Skegness. 🍰🍯

Participants are making sticky toffee pudding, rich toffee sauce, and a classic chicken and mushroom stroganoff. 🥄 🍄‍🟫

Adding to the excitement, former Mayor, Cllr Jimmy Brookes Skegness South, visited us. 🎉 He met our enthusiastic cooks and learned about the passion and skill we nurture. 👨‍🍳

Want to build your cooking skills, meet new people, and enjoy a great day out each week? 🫑🍴🙋🏻‍♀️

Our recent Adult Learning Cooking sessions at The Village Church Farm Skegness were a hit, from homemade leek & potato soup with fresh bread rolls to rich, flavour‑packed curries. 🥔🥘

If you’d like to get involved, we’re running three hands‑on sessions on either Mondays or Fridays:

📅 Mondays:
29 June • 6 July • 13 July
or
📅 Fridays:
10 July • 17 July • 24 July

📍 The Village Church Farm
🕥 10am–3:30pm

These courses are free (fully funded) if you:
• are 19 or over
• earn under £25,750 a year
• are ordinarily resident in the UK
