🌸🐰 Spring has SPRUNG and so did we! 🐰🌸

Yesterday we kicked off Easter season with our Spring Social and we ate, we played, we decorated and we absolutely thrived 🎉

Shoutout to everyone who came out and made it the most chaotic (in the best way) afternoon 🥚✨ The Easter decorations were IMMACULATE and the games got competitive 👀 and we even made carrots out of napkins 🥕 Every single one looked different, and that's exactly the point — all shapes welcome here! 🧡

Today, level 4 students completed their informal group presentation activities, sharing their knowledge by swapping groups to check their understanding and learn from one another. It was a great way to build confidence, collaboration, and communication skills. 📚✨

Recently, our TESOL team delivered an online CPD session focused on the Pre-Entry aspects of the ESOL Core Curriculum and how we assess progress with pre-literate learners. We had some thoughtful discussions about what progress really looks like for learners developing literacy for the first time. 💬

Sessions like this remind us how valuable it is to share ideas, reflect on our practice and learn from one another. Supporting pre-literate ESOL learners requires patience, creativity and a strong understanding of the curriculum, and it was inspiring to see colleagues openly sharing their strategies, experiences and challenges they have faced. 🍀 👏
