Our Alexa kit has just gone out for the first time for a graduate project on BA Film Production.
DOP came in earlier to test the kit and pack it up ready for their shoot.

It’s fantastic to now be able to offer such amazing equipment for our students to use on their project.

An amazing experience for our students to have come and talk to them, as well as showcase some fantastic cinematography tools. During our schools . Can’t wait to have you back in the future!

Recently brought one of their projects to our studios here at . Using a crew of our students, Zeta shot ‘O’, directed by Gabriela Nemesio Nombre.

‘O’ is an experimental short film exploring the perception of colour as a graphic image and as a skin tone belonging to someone’s body and therefore, their story.

Cinematography@Lincoln is 1 year old today. It’s a year since we began highlighting and pushing the fantastic work and experience our students have who choose to study cinematography as part of our under-graduate and post-graduate courses in & . We’re really excited to see how we grow this platform and continue to champion the art and craft of cinematography at the University of Lincoln.

Today some of our Cinematography students worked with on a shoot capturing some medical scenarios. To aid in training nursing students at . Working with some fantastic students in front of camera. It was a fantastic day for all, gaining real world experience that can’t be taught in a studio.

Final cinematography workshop of the academic year for our 2nd year BA Film Production cinematography students. This week we worked with green screen and let the students go wild in the props room dressing a set.

This morning we introduced our Arri Alexa to our 2nd year, semester B, Cinematography students on BA Film Production. This is a fantastic chance for students to have hands on experience with this camera in a timetabled session.
