We had a fantastic time at Lincoln Business Club last Friday, where we had the opportunity to talk about Isaac Newton 300 – our spectacular city-wide art trail coming to Lincoln in summer 2027.

It was great to share more about the exciting ways local businesses, organisations and schools can get involved, including opportunities to:

• Become an Isaac Newton 300 sponsor
• Get involved in the artist programme
• Take part in the schools programme
• Help bring this exciting celebration of Isaac Newton to life across Lincoln

With artist-designed apple sculptures, school-created sculptures and a programme of activities planned across the city, Isaac Newton 300 will be a fantastic opportunity for businesses to be part of something that brings people together, celebrates creativity and supports our Charity Partner, Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.

We’re delighted to have Waterside Lincoln supporting Isaac Newton 300!

As one of Lincoln’s key shopping destinations, Waterside will be an important part of the city-wide experience when the trail arrives in Summer 2027.

With thousands of people expected to explore our apple sculptures across Lincoln, the trail is a fantastic opportunity to encourage visitors to discover even more of what our city has to offer.

Someone is going to have to get all those apples around the city… 👀🍎

We’re delighted to have Barnes of Lincoln on board as our Logistics Partner for Isaac Newton 300!

With five generations of experience providing trusted removals and storage solutions, Barnes of Lincoln will be helping us with the practical side of bringing our spectacular sculpture trail to life.

From getting sculptures where they need to be to helping make sure they’re handled with care, having the right logistics partner behind the scenes is essential.

Calling Lincolnshire Artists, Illustrators & Designers!

Want to help bring Lincoln’s biggest art trail yet to life?

Isaac Newton 300 is coming to Lincoln in Summer 2027, celebrating the 300th anniversary of Sir Isaac Newton’s death with a spectacular city-wide sculpture trail, delivered by Lincoln BIG in partnership with Wild in Art and supporting our Charity Partner, Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

We’re looking for artists, illustrators and designers, primarily from the local area, to create engaging and inspirational artwork for our giant apple sculptures.

Each apple is approximately 110cm high and 100cm across, providing a unique 3D canvas for your creativity. From fine art and graffiti to new media and mosaic, we want to see your ideas bring these sculptures to life.

Designs should respond to Lincolnshire themes, such as:

Big skies and countryside
Agriculture and the coast
Culture and heritage
Aviation
Innovation and innovators
And everything that makes Lincolnshire unique

As our spectacular ten-week city-wide art trail comes to Lincoln in Summer 2027, we’ll be helping raise awareness and vital funds for the lifesaving work of this incredible local charity.

Their doctors and paramedics bring critical care directly to people across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire when they need it most.
