The 2025/26 academic year has come to a close, and it’s been another incredible year for our school community. It’s been a year filled with fun, creativity and success, with every child having thrived in their own unique way. There have been some amazing enrichment opportunities and visits for our children across the year, including: the Spilsby Music Festival, the Natural History Museum, Rock Steady music lessons, Skegness Aquarium, Lincoln Cathedral, Pantastic and of course, our annual visit to PGL, just to name a handful! We’ve said hello to a wonderful new cohort of EYFS children, and a heartfelt goodbye to an amazing set of Year 6s, plus a pair of adults, who we thank for their remarkable dedication to our school over their respective years.

Well done to everyone, staff and children, for their hard work, and we wish everyone a happy and safe summer holiday.

A belated (but much deserved!) bravo and congratulations to our amazing actors, singers and stage hands for their beautiful production of Pantastic - The Peter Pan Musical, last week. After weeks of rehearsals, the children put on a multitude of performances to the school and families and very much brought the house down. Well done to everyone for your endurance, and a special thank you to Mrs Evans, Miss Rinfret and of course, Mrs Shaw, for giving the children their time for this wonderful opportunity. ☺️🎼⭐️🎭

The Year 6 end-of-year rites of passage continued today with a whole-class water fight before lunch. No one left the orchard dry, so it was a mission complete. 🤣❤️💦

Year 1 and 2 have been looking at sculpture as part of their Art and Design unit this term. They’ve recently been looking at how to create textures using a range of 2D objects then transformed this idea into some sculptures of birds. Well done, KS1 😊❤️🎨🐦

Our incredible rockstars performed their latest concert to the school this week. We were blown away by the remarkable progress made by all of the bands since they formed in September. We can’t thank the lovely Joseph and Rocksteady Music School for the opportunity this year and can’t wait to see even more progress (and hopefully lots of new children joining bands!) in the new school year. Well done, everyone! 😊❤️🎼🎤🥁🎸

The next part of Year 6’s end of year celebrations has taken place tonight, with another fantastic evening at The Mirage. After an awesome game of bowling (we have some rising talent amongst the class!), the children refuelled with pizza, chips, sandwiches and ice-cream (the four major food groups). They ended the evening (much sweatier than it started!) with having the whole of the soft play area to themselves. We hope you had a fabulous time, children, and made plenty of memories! A special thank you to the school adults for giving their Friday evening up to ensure the children got this fantastic, whole cohort experience. 😊❤️🍕🎳
