Today we’ve had a brilliant day in school celebrating Comic Relief

The children came to school dressed in red and it was fantastic to see so much colour, enthusiasm and excitement across the whole school as everyone got involved.

We also held a bake-off, and the entries were fantastic. There was a great variety of treats available to enjoy, and the effort that went into them was incredible. A huge thank you to Mrs Stephens and Mrs Jones for being our judges!

It’s been a lovely day, with the children really embracing the spirit of the event and getting fully involved.

Yesterday we held a festive reading cafe in school and the children enjoyed festive themed books with their families and friends. It was a lovely cosy afternoon. 📚 ⭐️

On Wednesday afternoon we had lots of fun raising money for MNDA participating in our annual dance and prance event led by Miss Apps (aka Santa!).

Yesterday our KS1 children blew us away with 2 performances of Christmas with the aliens! They were absolute superstars and got us all in the festive spirit! ⭐️

Last week the children all enjoyed decorating our beautiful tree, kindly donated by Fillingham Christmas Trees.

Lots of the children participated in our Christmas decoration competition that we run every year and took great pleasure in hanging them on the tree.

The tree is looking wonderful in our library area, hopefully lots of you will get chance to see it when you visit school for our other events next week.

Christmas is always a busy time in school and we started our festivities last week with a whole school trip to see the Panto in Lincoln! The ice creams at the interval were delicious too!
