I ordered from Perrys Woodcraft for the first time… and I was absolutely gutted!
I’ve worked in education my entire adult life, starting in secondary schools before moving into early years after my eldest was born. I love a good quality resource – bonus points if it requires minimal setup!
Perrys have been creating beautiful acrylic and wooden EYFS resources for the best part of a decade, but somehow I only placed my very first order at the end of June for the July Perrybox.
I was beyond excited when my parcel arrived. The surprise packet of Burtons Fish ‘n’ Chip crisps was such a lovely touch! 🥰
The resources themselves are beautifully designed and incredibly well made. They’re perfect for both adult-led and child-led play. Even if, like me, you sometimes lack creative inspiration, they can be used straight out of the box. Or, if you’re feeling more imaginative, they’re so easy to personalise and adapt for different themes and learning opportunities.
So why was I gutted?
Because Little Birds Hykeham has been around for three years, and this is the very first Perrybox I’ve ever ordered… which means I’ve missed out on TWENTY previous boxes! 😭
Safe to say, I won’t be making that mistake again!
