Well done, Team Manor Leas! We are so proud of our Lincolnshire Show team, who represented us brilliantly and showcased their knowledge with excellence at the Lincolnshire Show over the last two days! We even got a chance to chat to celebrity singer and farmer, JB Gill!

What a fantastic time we have had - interacting with so many exhibitors at the show, sharing ideas and learning from other schools and presenting our hard work on climate friendly initiatives that could be introduced to our site.

Well done and thank you to everyone that has supported our project!

☀️ The weather is hotting up for Friday’s Midsummer Social!

We can’t wait to welcome you for an evening of fun, food, music, shopping and entertainment! 🎉

School games and stalls can be paid for using our prepaid token system! External companies joining us, such as food vans, bouncy castles and fairground games, will require cash or card (cash ideally for inflatables - x3 to enjoy, £5 unlimited play). 😊

Get ready to soak your favourite teacher 💧, meet Henry the horse 🐴, take a look inside a fire engine 🚒 and have a go at Taiko drumming 🥁!

And finally, don’t forget the raffle… we have LOTS of wonderful prizes to be won! 🏅

🌿🔥 Year 6 Outdoor Learning Day 🔥🌿

Today, our Year 6 pupils enjoyed an exciting Outdoor Learning Day with the fantastic team from Wild Woodcraft!

The children explored all things fire, learning essential fire safety skills and discovering how fires can be built and used responsibly in the outdoors. They had the opportunity to create their own fires, develop teamwork and problem-solving skills, and gain a deeper appreciation for outdoor learning.

It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm, curiosity, and resilience throughout the day. A huge thank you to Wild Woodcraft for delivering such an engaging and memorable experience for our Year 6 pupils!

Year 3 had a special visit from Ian and Jade this morning from Lincoln and Lindsey Blind Society.

Ian's story was inspirational and we loved hearing about his journey.

The children used white canes and goggles to see what it is like to be visually impaired.

They were super impressed with the Ray Ban Meta glasses 😎

🐴 Henry the horse was in school today and he was busy making plans for attending the Midsummer Social next week!

Great Big Green Week is upon us 🌎!
Our pupils have been spreading the word about the importance of pollinator corridors and scattering wildflower 🌺 seeds in our community! Visit Manor Leas play area on Rivermead to see our seed bed. We hope to have developed a thriving space for biodiversity in our community 🐞!

At Manor Leas we know we can only help our planet by working together!

We have worked in collaboration with Lincoln County Council and Debbie Mace from Climate Hope Lincoln.

What an incredible Sports Day at Manor Leas!

Our school value of “Rise Like a Phoenix” was on display throughout the day as pupils showed determination, resilience, teamwork, and enthusiasm in every event.

A huge thank you to Premier Education for their fantastic support in helping to make the day such a success. Your energy, organisation, and encouragement were greatly appreciated.

Most importantly, well done to all of our pupils. You should be incredibly proud of your efforts, sportsmanship and positive attitudes. You truly rose to every challenge and made the day one to remember!

Thank you also to our staff, families and supporters who helped create such a wonderful atmosphere.

🎉 We’re so excited for this year’s Midsummer Social! And look what we’ve been working on today… the return of the dunk tank 💧! Full of summer entertainment but everyone’s favourite memory from 2025 was seeing their favourite teacher get soaked!

We can’t wait to see you there! And don’t forget to bring your friends and neighbours. Our event is for the whole community, you don’t have to attend Manor Leas to join the fun. Friday 19th June!
