☀️WEATHER UPDATE ☀️

We have been notified of a Red Weather Alert for the rest of this week. In school, students will have access to water and squash all day as well as shelter at lunchtimes. We will also be restocking the ice lollies! 🍭

Acorn uniform policy allows shorts and polo shirts for permanent students. We are also happy for KS3 students to wear their mainstream PE kit this week so that they are cooler. Please note this means shorts and skorts; we will not allow leggings or tracksuit bottoms.

We will keep you updated as the week progresses 🤩

Happy Father’s Day to all of the Dads, Grandads, Uncles, Carers and role models supporting our students 🤩 Thank you for all you do ☺️

And that’s a wrap on the GCSE exams for this year! Year 11 have been absolutely wonderful. They have worked incredibly hard throughout and can do no more. 🤩

We hope they all have a brilliant summer. ☀️⛱️

Well we didn’t expect this little one to pay us a visit today! How cute! 🦌

What a wonderful half term! Our Year 11 students are approaching their GCSE exams with maturity, dedication and diligence. We could not be prouder! 🤩

Our Year 9 students have begun work for their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award. 🥉

Year 10 are well on their way with planning their routes into post-16. I KNOW they are all pumped for their first set of GCSE mock exams in June. 😉 📚

Finally, our youngest students are doing incredibly well on their reintegration placements. They are happy, settled and telling us what they need to feel successful! Well done! 😁

Beyond proud of this wonderful young lady. This week she received The Burhouse Bursary. This organisation gives money to children to help them pursue their goals and ambitions. Our superstar received her bursary for acrobatics. 🤸‍♀️🤩🥳
