Hello everyone,
We hope you are all keeping well and now finally enjoying the start of your amazing summer!
The current committee is departing today, and the new ones are taking over the reins. We would just like to say a massive thank you to each and every single one of you for taking interest in our society, purchasing our membership (Resulting with over 300 members of which is the largest recorded amount in the SU and the societies history!), and coming along to the 35+ events we have hosted this academic year!
It feels just like yesterday when myself and rest of the committee took over the society in the summer of 2021. We worked hard to rebrand the society, get as much support as possible, put a new strategic plan in place, all to give you all such an incredible year after the impact of covid-19.
From having frequent meetings, planning events, organising everything, and contacting people to get involved, to filing out risk assessments, ensuring everyone is safe and having a great time. Running a society can be extremely stressful at times, and the success of this year would not have been possible without my amazing committee, Lincoln International Business School team/staff, LIBS Global Team, our sponsors, guest speakers, other partners and staff across the university who have worked extremely hard to support everyone to make society what it is today.
Wishing everyone all the very best in their careers and good luck to the new committee, I'm sure they will do a smashing job!
