🐛 This morning, our caterpillars arrived at nursery! 🐛
The children are so excited to begin learning about the fascinating life cycle of a butterfly. 🐛🦋
To spark curiosity and encourage lots of conversations, the staff have created Curiosity Cubes filled with activities and resources all linked to caterpillars and butterflies. 🦋✨
We can’t wait to watch our tiny caterpillars grow and transform over the coming weeks! 💚
Rosemary Lanes Inset Day 🌟
A lovely day with the team, lots of engagement and of course lots of fun!!
We covered so much in one day starting off with Transforming Education with Laura Scott and LifeVac Training with Richard. Then onto Safeguarding and Health & Safety with Emma Goodall. The afternoon we did Summer of Love and then onto staff activities. Each room presented an activity relating to either a book of the week, songs and rhymes or extra curricular activities … the team did an amazing job and the activities were fun and inspiring
To finish the day we played Guess Who? We found out lots of interesting and bizarre facts about the team 🤣

Over the past two weeks, Tracy from Education and Quality has done an incredible job transforming our Messy Area into a brand new classroom!
Our Early Years 2 room is designed especially for our older 3–4 year olds. This will allow us to prepare and get them ready for their transition to school- still being led through play and imagination 🌿✏️
We can’t wait for the children to begin exploring their new space on Monday and to start enjoying all the exciting new resources that will support their development across all areas of learning. 💛

Today, many of our preschool children found out which primary school they’ll be starting this September - such a special milestone in their journey. 🎒
We are incredibly proud of every single one of them and can’t wait to continue supporting them as they prepare for this exciting next chapter. A big well done to all our soon‑to‑be school starters!
