Good evening, everyone. I am currently being very busy making and sourcing suitable phonic materials to tutor children and adults, who are needing additional support with reading. I have extensive experience teaching children as young as nursery age with phonics. I have taught using Jolly Phonics, Letters and Sounds, and Read Write Inc.

I am available for 1:2:1 or small group sessions either afterschool or at the weekend. I have experience of teaching children who have special needs or are EAL (English as Additional language). Please message me for further details.

🤷🏻‍♀️I have heard SOOOO many parents over the last 12 years tell me that they have no idea what all this phonics stuff is. And they also tell me that it’s so different to how they learnt to read. Does this sound like you? 🙋🏼‍♀️

Hello everyone and welcome to my bespoke business 'Busy Bee Reading'.

My name is Sarah Pellatt, and I am an experienced primary school teacher, with over 12 years’ experience. Being able to read is the most important skill that we can support our children with. Without this skill, children will struggle to access the curriculum and will become disengaged with education.

Busy Bee Reading specialises in group tutoring, to parents for their understanding of phonics. Allowing them to support their children confidently and correctly, in their reading development. Groups will be weekly in an arranged venue, with myself.

I will be travelling round the county delivering in-depth phonic training for you, so that supporting your child to love to learn to read will not be daunting.
