We believe that providing exceptional care and early education begins with having skilled, valued and well-supported employees.

That’s why we’re proud to offer qualified Level 3 Practitioners a competitive rate of £14.00 per hour, alongside a £500 joining bonus and a wide range of employee benefits.

Greetwell's Staff Mystery Adventure...

It's a fact that the Greetwell Team let their hair down now and again... And today's Staff Event was a mix of chaos, fun and hysterics!

The mission... To find King John's legendary Lost Crown. 👑

After solving riddles to get to our seperate starting points, Team Blue (Jamie's) and Team Red (Chloe's) set on their quests accross Lincoln, solving puzzles, riddles and finding clues to solve the ultimate question.

It really was a case of cat and mouse between both our teams throughout the highstreet and bailgate, intertwining with the amazing Steempunk event!

Well done Team Red ...you won by a hair! And as such, will now all revive a prize disciplinary for beating me! 🤣😏

It was a fantastic and very daft morning, rounded off with drinks, food and many laughs!!

Happy Makaton awareness day!

Today is Makaton awareness day which is held every year on the 28th August. To mark the special day, today during circle time we revisited all of the Makaton signs that the children have learned over the past year.

The children did a fantastic job at remembering each of the different signs and teaching me them during their circle time. 😀

Behind the scenes... 🕵️

Staffing is always at the forefront of my mind from the moment we unlock in the morning, to the moment we lock up at the end of the day.

Ensuring ratios are covered with the correct number of staff and the appropriate qualifications throughout the days is a legal requirement and forms part of our safeguarding compliance.

This is why I am not always able to accept ad-hoc sessions... Though we always try our best where we can. 🙂

Another baby room adventure 🌿

We had a fun walk to our local woodland area to complete an activity for our Wild Challenge. We spent time shaking the trees and explored the natural objects that fell. One of our highlights on this adventure was using natural resources like sticks to mark make on the ground. We can’t wait for the next one!

On the 11th July, we had our yearly mini party at Daisy Made Farm. It's our way of saying goodbye to our families and spend time with them outside of Greetwell. With the sun shining, Diana's amazing cake, the beautiful icecream, cute animals and everyone putting up with me waffling on... it was a wonderful morning. 🌞🍦

We wish all of our amazing School Leavers all the very best in their next exciting journey. We will miss you all.

Across all of our nurseries, we're often asked why we don't hold traditional cap-and-gown graduations.

The answer is simple—it doesn't reflect our ethos.

We believe every child deserves to be celebrated as the individual they are. Rather than a formal graduation ceremony, we choose meaningful end-of-year celebrations that focus on memories, friendships, family and just how far each child has come.

This isn't about saying one approach is better than another—it's simply the approach that feels most authentic to our values and the experience we want to create for every child.

We've shared a little more about our thinking below. 🤍
