📣 Support available for families as new school year begins

The EA is reminding parents and carers that help and information is available as schools across Northern Ireland prepare to welcome pupils back for the new academic year.

A number of dedicated helplines are in place and further information and details of support are available through the EA website and social media channels. This covers a range of areas, including special educational needs (SEN), school transport, free school meals, uniform grants and admissions.

Children with a statement of special educational needs who need a special diet may be entitled to Free School Meals support.

Today we said a heartfelt goodbye to our school leavers, the Class of 2026.
This is always an emotional day in Rossmar. While we are sad to say farewell to such a wonderful group of pupils, we are incredibly proud of the journey each and every one of them has been on during their time with us, and of the progress they have made along the way.
We wish them and their families all the very best for the future and know that they will always remain part of our Rossmar family 💙💛

Rossmar School is undertaking pre-application community consultation for a proposed five classroom extension in Limavady .
The proposal includes: Removal of two temporary modular classrooms and the construction of a five-classroom extension, sensory garden and additional car parking.

Residents and Interested parties are invited to view the proposals and provide feedback.
