My 'Easy Tab Zip Purse' workshop is on Thursday and it's your last chance to catch my cabinet display of textile sculptures and 'Stitchety' workshop examples - On until 7th June.

As voted for at the first event, our offering this time is the awesome 80s classic, 'The Breakfast Club'. Join us at 6pm in the Café Bar, to meet up with friends and get any help or advice you might need from myself or Becci from Yarny Bees , grab a snack then head on in. The film starts at 7pm and we'll be on hand throughout to lend out tools and basic supplies if you need them.

May's 'Stitchety Sessions for Adults' The New Art Gallery Walsall was all about 'applique', a lovely way to embellish your sewing and mending - and it was sooo relaxing ☺️

We had just over one hundred children and grown-ups stitching away together at 'Sunday Art Club' The New Art Gallery Walsall this week. It was such a fun day, thank you to everyone who came, I hope you all carry on sewing, you're brilliant! 🤩🧵🪡🧶

It really will be a joy and a privilege to run this week's Sunday Art Club, 'Simple Stitched Flowers', which is inspired by the most beautiful exhibition by Jaskirt Dhaliwal-Boora - 'Fractured Landscapes and how we heal', currently on Floor 4 The New Art Gallery Walsall

The work is put together with such sensitivity, wonderful imagery and sounds for families to enjoy but with the opportunity to go much deeper if you read more about the work.

We'll be using wool and hessian, with plastic needles so it really is perfect for all ages - 12-3pm, Ages 4+ Free, drop-in
