Twiglets is an outdoor playgroup for little ones aged 5 and under, where children can explore, get messy, play freely and enjoy the magic of the great outdoors. 🌳✨

🍁 Our September theme is Woodland Adventures! 🍁

We’ll be bringing some much-loved Julia Donaldson classics to life, including The Gruffalo and Stick Man, alongside lots of autumn-inspired activities, sensory play, messy play and outdoor activities 🦊🌿🍂

It’s a lovely way to spend a morning outdoors. 💚

I’ve had lots of messages this week, so just a little reminder that I’m taking a summer break. Sessions will be back in September! 💚

As we wrap up our final week in the woods before September, I just wanted to say thank you. ❤️

I’ve been completely overwhelmed by all the lovely little gifts, kind words and thoughtful gestures this week. Your support means more than you know.

It got me thinking about this little playgroup I started almost five years ago. I never imagined it would grow into such a wonderful community. My aim was simply to create a space where children could connect with nature and explore the outdoors, but what has grown from that has been so much more.

I’ve watched families return week after week, seen friendships blossom between parents and children, and even made friends of my own. So many of you have told me what a lifeline Twiglets has been—getting you out of the house when parenting has felt overwhelming. I’m so privileged that, at times, Twiglets has been your safe space.

I’ve also been lucky enough to build an incredible network of childminders who genuinely feel more like work colleagues to me now.

Thank you for making Twiglets what it is. I feel incredibly lucky to have you all, and I can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the woods in September. 🌿💚
