These two piles of books have brought so much excitement to lessons already!
From someone realising something they had learnt already was in fact grade two to other who wanted to start working on their next grade with these pieces to others who simply wanted to play and sigh read some new pieces.
They’ve been such a good addition!

So many pieces in the Grade 1 LCME book I’ve taught or played as a child! There is a good selection in there!

Some sight reading this afternoon!
So far I’ve played through initial lcmexams level 1 to grade 4 and have found some lovely pieces!
Do note this is my Kitchen piano and not in my teaching studio 😃
Time for a quick break and then to continue to grade 5 up!

Love this! I always talk about story telling in pieces - even just imagined conversations helps
with phrasing and shaping of the music.

The new LCME books arrived - I only had a few minutes spare so had a little look at this piece!
For those worrying, I haven’t downgraded the piano - this is my kitchen piano for quiet practice!

One of the privileges of my job is being able to wear many hats!
One of which is working in Specialist Provision for those with additional needs and disabilities!
I’m super excited to read the new book by David Baker!
It seems to be a book heavy couple of weeks! (When the new syllabi finally arrive! - fingers crossed for tomorrow 🤞) But continuous professional development is a priority of mine!
