⛑First aid is a crucial and essential life skill and having the confidence to cope and know what to do in a situation that may arise is priceless.

🩹That’s why I have the fantastic coming to run a Family First Aid session at our Little Book Swappers workshop on Tuesday 11th June…2:30-4:30

🚨The session is limited to 10 people and babies under 12 months welcome.

❤️I’ll be on hand to make brews and to dish out the biscuits while you are in the safe hands of the Daisy First Aid team.

🚨It’s a 2 hour session which I can guarantee you will walk away from with a vast amount of knowledge and confidence to know what to do and how to cope in a first aid situation.

⛑It’s just £30 per person for the session and I guarantee it’s the best thing you will do to help keep your family, friends and little ones safe. 🥰

How are we all doing…a couple of weeks into the new school year….the novelty wearing off?…reality hitting…a little tiredness setting in?? Oh yeah we are feeling it here. Definitely a wobbly week last week for us so trying to reset so as always my go to are amazing books and stories.

This is a newbie for us and I love it is one of our favourite authors. We love Barbara throws a Wobbler and I think this newbie will definitely open up some conversations around worries, jitters and anxious feelings in a brilliantly funny way. ❤️📚❤️

Sending loads of love to everyone and hoping for a less wobbly week here. So far so good….❤️

Oops my bag is definitely a bit heavier on the way home…I just couldn’t resist exploring the gift and book shops over here and I wasn’t disappointed. This one is a stunner and has pages dedicated to lots of the places we have stopped at on our road trip. The illustrations are mega as well 🙌❤️📚❤️🙌

Please excuse the terrible light which doesn’t do this book justice but I’ve been meaning to share this for AGES and after reading it again tonight it reminded me just how absolutely brilliant it is!

So first of all it has been written by a fantastic early years teacher with bags of experience who is such an inspiration. She has used all her fabulous experience and understanding of neuro diversity and sensory issues to create this wonderful book for both children and adults.

‘It’s for neurotypical and neurodiverse children alike. It gives adults a fun way to help children to explain how they feel when they don’t yet have the words to explain it themselves.’

My eldest engaged with this brilliantly…it sparked fantastic conversations and realisations that he is not the only one that feels this way sometimes. He was able to use it to open up about when things feel tough or tricky and we started to delve into how we as parents can help him when things get too much or what things he can do/have to hand to help him to regulate when he feels a certain way. ❤️🧡💛💚

I think every single classroom should have a copy and I will be ordering more copies to gift to the boys school to open up those conversations that are so so important with all children and parents. ❤️💚💛💙💜
