It’s about building friendships, sharing moments, and making memories that last, while supporting families every step of the way💚 Activate With Andy is a small business that is based around working with both children and adults on wellbeing, health and fitness. I run groups and activities for children and parents, a lot of this focussing on children's movement. I also run children's parties, after

school clubs and holiday clubs. During the night I run adults fitness classes to focus on their own health and fitness. I am really passionate about what I do and making a difference and a positive impact on children and adults lives.

Can you believe we’re already at the LAST WEEK of the summer holidays?! ☀️🥹

So this week at Create, Play & Learn, we’re going to finish the summer off with a little celebration at BOTH of our sessions! 🥳

And we’re having a JACOB’S JOIN! 🍰🍪🧃🍿

If you’re joining us, we’re asking everyone to bring just a little something to add to the table for the children to enjoy.

It could be…

🍰 Cakes
🍿 Crisps
🧃 Juice
🍓 Fruit
🥨 Snacks
…or anything else you think the children might enjoy!

You really don’t need to bring much! ❤️ If every family brings just one little thing, we’ll soon have plenty for everyone to share.

Another brilliant Mini Athletes session in Penwortham today, and we have a VERY well-deserved Star of the Week! 🏅

⭐ DARCEY! ⭐

The last time Darcey came to Mini Athletes, I made her a little promise…

I told her that the next time she came, I wanted to see her very best listening, and if she did that, she could earn the Star of the Week medal.

Well… she definitely didn’t forget! 😂❤️

Darcey came back today, listened absolutely brilliantly and did exactly what I’d asked of her. She worked so hard throughout the session and completely earned that medal! 🏅👏

Well done, Darcey! I’m so proud that you remembered our little challenge and absolutely smashed it! 💙

📣 A little reminder for our Monday families…

Next Monday is Bank Holiday Monday, so there will be NO Mini Athletes in Penwortham next week.

🎉 ACTIVE TOTS PARTIES ARE BACK FOR 2027! 🎉

Well… there’s been a little change of plan! 😂 And this time, it’s a GOOD one! 💙

After my recent announcement that we would no longer be offering Active Tots birthday parties for new bookings, I had a parent message me who was hoping to book one.

During our conversation, she asked whether she could arrange and book her own bouncy castles and still have me come along with all of my Active Tots equipment and run the party as normal.

That got me thinking… 🤔💡

Why don’t we offer Active Tots parties this way going forward?!

It removes the difficulties we were having around providing the inflatables ourselves, while still allowing me to offer a party that has been incredibly popular with our families over the years.

So I’m very happy to announce…

🥳 ACTIVE TOTS PARTIES ARE OFFICIALLY BACK FOR 2027! 🥳

The new package will be:

🎈 ACTIVE TOTS PARTY – £200
🏠 Our venue included
🤸 All of our Active Tots equipment
🎉 Full party setup and hosting with Andy
🏰 You arrange and book your own bouncy castles/inflatables directly with your chosen supplier

It also means you can choose the inflatables that are perfect for your child and their party theme! 🙌

Any inflatables will just need to be suitable for our venue and agreed with us beforehand.

And we’ve already taken our FIRST Active Tots booking under the new setup! 🥳❤️

Sometimes when something has to change, you just need to find a different way of making it work — and I think we’ve found it!

🎉 IMPORTANT UPDATE – ACTIVATE WITH ANDY BIRTHDAY PARTIES 🎉

I wanted to give everyone a little update about our birthday parties going into 2027.

After a lot of thought, I have made the decision that we will no longer be taking NEW bookings for Active Tots birthday parties from 2027.

Our Active Tots parties rely on an external inflatable company to provide the bouncy castles. Due to changes in the way our supplier will be operating going forward, along with a significant increase in the costs involved, unfortunately the package is no longer viable for us to continue offering at a price I feel comfortable charging our families.

It genuinely wasn’t an easy decision. Our Active Tots parties have been incredibly popular over the years and we’ve made some amazing memories at them. ❤️

BUT – if you already have an Active Tots party booked with us, please don’t worry!

🎈 ALL EXISTING BOOKINGS WILL STILL GO AHEAD. 🎈

This change is for future bookings only and I will be contacting any families where necessary. If you’ve already booked, your party is safe and we’ll make sure you have the fantastic celebration you’ve been promised. 🥳

So what happens next?

We’re going to put even more focus into what we do best! 🙌

🏃‍♂️ MINI ATHLETES PARTIES

These have become our most popular birthday parties and I absolutely LOVE delivering them! An hour packed with games, races, challenges, teamwork, lots of energy and plenty of laughs.

You can book a Mini Athletes party at your own venue for £175, or use our venue for £215.

🎶 ACTIVE BEATS PARTIES

Shell will also continue offering our fantastic Active Beats parties – perfect for younger children who love music, dancing and having fun! 💃🎵

Our 2027 party diary is OPEN NOW, and bookings are already coming in.

If you’re thinking about an Activate with Andy party next year, please don’t think it’s too early to book. Saturdays can fill months in advance, so securing your date early is always recommended.

This is simply the next chapter for our birthday parties, and I’m really excited to put even more into our Mini Athletes and Active Beats party experiences. 💙

🎉 WHAT A BRILLIANT MORNING AT ACTIVE TOTS! 🎉

Thank you so much to everyone who joined me this morning and made it another FULLY BOOKED Active Tots! 💙🙌

We had all the usual bouncing, climbing, sliding, playing and plenty of smiles, but today was also a little bittersweet as we said goodbye to two of our lovely children, Ethan and Evelyn. 🥹❤️

Both have been coming to our groups for a couple of years, and now it’s time for their next big adventures as they move on to nursery and school.

We have absolutely LOVED having you both in group and watching you grow over the years. You’ll be very missed, but I know you’re both going to be amazing! 🥰

Arlo’s listening today was absolutely brilliant, but what impressed me most was how well he took those instructions and put them straight into the games. 👏 He listened, understood what he needed to do and then gave every activity his best go!
