A short, chilled but creative week this week working on our fine motor skills using the scissors ✂️ making patterns and using the autumn stampers in the playdoh and we got creative in the paint and made collages 🎨 🖍️ ❤️

Our new starter also settled in perfectly lots of smiles and new little friendships forming ♥️

We also said goodbye to Violet from Amy's Childminding 😢 she is off on her journey to school and we know she’ll be amazing! We will miss you lots 💔

We’ve had a blast this week! We had played games 🐍 🪜 , talked about emotions 😢 😃 with the emotion monsters, my pre schoolers have been using the magnet letters to spell out their names 🧲 , and we did a great firefighter themed activity at our friends Amy's Childminding ready for our trip to Leyland Fire station which the children absolutely loved! Not only did we get to sit in the fire engine, listen to the sirens, get to see all the tools the fire fighters used but we got to have a go on the huge fire hoses! 💦🔥 🚒 👨‍🚒

This week not only have we welcomed our newest member to our gang for their settling in session but we say goodbye to one of our bestest friends as she leaves for her journey to big school 🥹 what an amazing little girl she is! We will all miss you incredibly 🥹🥹❤️ I can’t imagine looking round and not seeing your little face, good luck on your next adventure to big school 💓 🏫

🌈✨ What a fun-filled week we’ve had! ✨🌈

We’ve been super busy exploring, learning and having lots of fun with our friends from Amy's Childminding! 🥰

🌳 We’ve enjoyed some lovely time at the park, making the most of the sunshine and having plenty of outdoor fun.

🦋 We visited the Butterfly House at Williamson park where we saw lots of beautiful butterflies, tortoises, cacoons, as well as some little animal friends including meerkats, guinea pigs and even snakes! 🐍🦋

🐐 We’ve also had a lovely trip to the farm, where we got to feed the goats and sheep. Such a lovely hands-on experience! 🐑💕

🚀🌙 We got super spacey ready for the eclipse with a fun space-themed activity in the homemade moon sand! We also turned ourselves into astronauts 🚀👨🏼‍🚀 🌒 🌌✨

📚 And today we’ve had a lovely chilled morning at the library. We played games, read lots of books and finished off with some singing! 🎶📖

Another wonderful week full of adventures, learning and lots of happy little faces! 💕🌈

🏕️ Our very first camping trip for some of our school leavers with Amy's Childminding ! 🏕️

And what a fabulous time we’ve had! 🥰❤️

We’re back home after our very first camping adventure and I honestly couldn’t be prouder of all the children. They were all so good and had the absolute best time making some lovely memories together. 🥹✨

We’ve packed so much into our little trip — playing games, making a little campfire 🔥, toasting marshmallows, sitting by the lake with an ice cream 🍦, and even watching a fighter jet fly over! ✈️

We read stories together 📚, enjoyed a McDonald’s tea as a little treat 🍟, then got all tucked up cosy in bed and watched a movie together. 🎬🛏️

This morning we woke up and had pancakes and strawberries for breakfast 🍓🥞 before packing everything up and heading home 🏠

So many giggles, lots of fun and plenty of special little moments that I’m sure we’ll all remember. ❤️

What a fab week we’ve had! We’ve been to the park, fed the ducks, spent the morning at tiny rockers, made our own bracelets 💓 and we planted our own wild seeds in our very own plant pots to take home.

Wow… what a busy week we’ve had! ✨

We really haven’t stopped! 😅

This week we’ve:
🌳 Visited the park
🦆 Fed the ducks
🏡 Enjoyed lots of free play at home
🌿 Explored the woods, building “dens” and pretending to make campfires
🫐 Picked fresh blackberries
🍓 Made our very own homemade blackberry jam (and took some home)
🧁 Baked a delicious jam swirl cake using our homemade jam 🤤
👑 Got creative making crowns and beautiful pictures with gems and stickers
🫧 Had lots of fun in the garden, cooking up treats in the play kitchen and chasing bubbles around
✂️ practised our cutting skills
🐴 And to top the week off, we enjoyed a wonderful trip to the farm!

We’ve also had a lovely new little face join our gang over the summer holidays, and she has been an absolute joy. 🥰 She’s settled in so well already and has made lots of new friends ❤️

This week has been full of summer fun and adventures! ☀️💛

We’ve enjoyed picnics at the park, had lots of splashing fun in the paddling pool, and got creative with some lovely drawings.

One of our favourite activities was making our own ice creams, complete with sprinkles and chocolate flakes! 🍦 It was super fun… and very messy, but definitely worth it! 😄

The children also loved our “Free the Pom Poms” activity, using little hammers to bash the frozen blocks and rescue the colourful pom poms hidden inside. It was a fantastic sensory activity that encouraged problem-solving and a lot of perseverance 😂 ❄️🔨

We also enjoyed a lovely trip to the café and library (one of us got a certificate!) , and while we were at the park we were lucky enough to see some diggers hard at work. 🚜 The children stood watching in amazement, fascinated by the huge machines and all the exciting work they were doing!

Another wonderful week filled with laughter, learning and creativity 💓

What a fun-filled week we’ve had! ☀️

We’ve made the most of the beautiful sunshine with lots of outdoor adventures. The children have loved spending time at the park, climbing trees, creating dens, and using their imaginations to turn the outdoors into their very own adventure playground. 🌳

We also got our huge bouncy castle slide pool out with our friends from Amy's Childminding which was a huge hit! There were lots of smiles, giggles and happy faces as they raced down the slide, splashing each other. 💦😊

Our new outdoor kitchen has been a big favourite too! The children have loved making “pies” and “cups of tea”, using their creativity and imagination as they enjoyed lots of pretend play together. 🥧☕

We also had great fun with our floating Pom Pom activity. The children used their fine motor skills, concentration and hand-eye coordination to carefully pick up the floating Pom Poms and sort them into the matching coloured cups. A simple activity that created lots of learning and enjoyment! 🌈

A wonderful week full of laughter, creativity, exploration and making special memories together. ❤️
