Spare Driver – Full Time

Due to continued business growth, we are looking for a reliable and professional Spare Driver to join our team on a full-time basis.

About the Role: -
We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Spare Driver to support our delivery operation across a range of routes.
This role involves early starts and working 6 days from Monday to Saturday.
The successful candidate will play an important part in supporting our growing business by providing flexible cover and a dependable, friendly and efficient delivery service.

Key Details:
• Role: Spare Driver
• Working pattern: Full time, 6 days Monday to Saturday.
• Hours: Average 45 hours per week
• Start times: Early starts required
• Pay: To be confirmed

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Driving safely and professionally as part of the daily delivery operation.
• Covering different delivery routes as required and delivering goods accurately and on time.
• Providing excellent customer service at every stop.
• Keeping the vehicle clean, tidy and making sure the vehicle is roadworthy.
• Following company procedures, delivery routes and health and safety requirements.
• Working closely with the team to ensure a smooth and reliable service.

What We’re Looking For
• A dependable and punctual person who is comfortable with early starts.
• A safe and considerate driver with a professional approach.
• Someone who can work well as part of a team and on their own initiative.
• A positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work on different rounds daily.
• A full UK driving licence is required and be aged 21 or over.

This role could be ideal if you are looking for a full-time driving position with regular work, variety across route.

As a Spare Driver, you will need to be adaptable, confident covering different routes and committed to providing a reliable service to our customers.
