Do you enjoy rapping? Have you ever wanted to learn? If so, there's still time to book your place with rapper, Rob Bradley on Wednesday 12th August at 10am. You will watch Rob perform a freestyle rap and then go on to learn some skills of your own before you have the opportunity to perform your own rap on the mic. Booking is essential - give us a call to reserve your spot!

Unfortunately there won't be a Storytime session at the library this Saturday 1 August.

However the library will be open 10 - 12 noon and there are lots of books for little ones to read and take home.

For 4 - 11 year olds there is still plenty of time to sign up for the Summer Reading Challenge, and we have our free drop in craft event on Tuesday 4 August from 10 until noon.

Looking for something to help keep children occupied over the long summer holidays? Why not get signed up for the free Summer Reading Challenge ?

Children aged 4 - 11 can earn prizes and a certificate by reading 6 books over the summer. They can read themselves or be read to - all that matters is that they are involved in reading!

We have lots of fiction and non fiction books to choose from 😊.

The library is open Mondays 10 - 4, Tuesdays 10 - 6, Fridays 10 - 4 and Saturdays 10 - 12.

FREE SUMMER READING CHALLENGE CRAFT EVENT

The Summer Reading Challenge is open for all children aged 4 - 11, just pop into the library to sign up!

We're holding a free Craft event on Tuesday 4 August, between 10 am and 12 noon.

No need to book, just drop in and enjoy the fun!
