Thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday 15th August to celebrate our 100 year anniversary. The turn out was fantastic, the sun shone and we really couldn’t have asked for a better village party. We were particularly delighted to see past residents and descendants of past residents making special efforts to join us and share their memories.
Thank you to local duo Why Not? who entertained us through out the afternoon, you really helped to create that special atmosphere. Thank you to the pizza and burger chefs, the bar hands, and everyone who made delicious cakes for us to enjoy throughout the afternoon. But most importantly thank you to our amazing village, you are the lovely people who make our village social events so much fun. We took a village photo and this will be shared soon. In the meantime here are a photos we also remembered to take. Here’s to the next 100 years.
