I can come to your home or you can come to my small studio in Ringmer. I can teach you how to use the sewing machine you have had for years or I can help you with a dressmaking or textiles project. I am a qualified teacher having taught Design & Textiles at GCSE and A Level and now teach adult courses in dressmaking. I also produce decorative textile items and pieces of art for sale and on a commission basis.

A little studio project! I needed to make new curtains for my studio shelves and found this gorgeous fabric from - the print is little crocheted daisies 🌼 - this only took me an hour, I overlocked and hemmed the edges & made a casing at the top. I might sew a little pom pom trim at the bottom 🤔 🧵 Very pleased with them

Sharon has been working on this dress for the last few workshops and I was thrilled to see her wearing it to class this morning 🤗 The fabric is reversible and I love how she has used the different stripes to create different effects 👏
