An independent co-ed school in Lewes, Sussex for ages three to eighteen. Lewes Old Grammar School is owned by the Lewes Old Grammar School Trust.

The School has long been established at the centre of the historic county town of East Sussex and is proud that it can trace its origins back to the educational foundation started by Agnes Morley during the reign of Henry VIII. The School moved to its current site at the top of Lewes High Street in the early 18th century and over the years has become affectionately known as LOGS. The academic stan

We are delighted to celebrate our Sixth Form pupils’ outstanding A Level and BTEC results. 📚

59% of A Level grades were marked A*-B, and 77% were marked A*-C with a pass rate of 99%.

Of our BTEC grades, 12.5% of entries were awarded Double Distinction Stars, 25% were awarded Distinction Stars and 50% were awarded Distinctions, with all grades at Merit or above.

Congratulations to our young people for their spirited, hard work, their support of one another and their excellent results. 👏🏼

Our Year 12 biology students recently took part in the Intermediate Biology Olympiad, organised by the Royal Society of Biology and we are excited to celebrate their impressive achievements! 👏🏼

This challenging competition tests students on GCSE and A-Level Biology knowledge, with advanced problem-solving questions based on key biological concepts. 🧬

Out of the more than 16,000 students participating nationally, LOGS students achieved gold and bronze medals, with others receiving highly commended and commended awards. 👏🏼

We are incredibly proud of all participants for their hard work and scientific curiosity!

During the last week of term, we enjoyed celebrating the achievements of our KS3 students at their prize giving ceremony. 🏆

As we begin the summer break, what better time to reflect on some of the highlights from last term?

Sports Day was certainly one to remember, full of energy, determination and team spirit!🏃‍♂️

Students took part in a range of track and field events showing great enthusiasm and teamwork throughout the day. Whether you were cheering from the sidelines or taking part in the events, well done to everyone for their contributions to the day! 👏🏼

The Year 6 children had a fantastic time making their costumes inspired by Goddess Freyja from Norse mythology for the Patina moving on parade! ✨

Last Friday, LOGS joined the other primary schools in Lewes to parade through the streets of the town, celebrating the transition from juniors to seniors.
