Aimed at primary students, join the STEM Hub SE and the Marine Conservation Society to discover information about incredible marine creatures for a Live Talk taking place on Wednesday 13 July at 9.15am.
During the talk you will have the opportunity to meet and hear from the Marine Conservation Society to find out about the incredible marine creatures 'Scout' meets on her journey including crabs, whales, turtles and gulls.
Discover how you can join 'Scout' to help look after our beaches, reduce litter and keep our seas clean. There will be an interactive Q&A session.

Science Jamboree is now in its 27th year. Students can participate in many exciting STEM activities at home or whilst at school. A fantastic opportunity for learners to discover the exciting world of STEM which will run throughout the summer holidays.

There are 4 main sections to the Jamboree:

Science Lab - take part in Challenges and science activities
Space Teams - 5 days of hands-on space activities with daily challenges such as the triple rocket test and Space Station filtration
The Explorer - a jungle scene with science activities that link to the wonderful book The Explorer. Learners can experience some of the same challenges as Fred in the story.
Live Talks - which feature interactive talks on engineering, space, and coding.

Meet Michelle, Anabel, Jesse and Bertrand from Cummins, New Power Segment which is focused on new and emerging alternative power technologies. The speakers all work within the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Technologies part of the segment that focuses on designing, manufacturing, and installing industrial and commercial hydrogen generation and hydrogen fuel cells. Find out what hydrogen technology is, what inspired their careers choices and why they are an international team.

Cummins is a multinational corporation that designs, manufactures, and distributes engines, filtration, and power generation products.

The virtual school assembly talk aimed at secondary students will take place using MS Teams Live. The platform has safeguarding built-in to make it a safe online environment especially for young people including no webcams or microphones and a live Q&A function which is fully moderated.
