Not everyone who needs support at an event needs medical treatment.
Someone may be distressed or overwhelmed, separated from friends or family, vulnerable through intoxication, experiencing a safeguarding concern, or simply need somewhere quiet and safe for a period of time.
That is where dedicated event welfare provision can make a real difference.
Our Event Welfare Teams work alongside medical, security and event management teams to provide practical, non-clinical support to people who may need additional help during an event.
From managing dedicated welfare spaces and supporting vulnerable attendees, through to safeguarding, lost children, intoxication and emotional wellbeing, the aim is to make sure people receive the right support while maintaining clear pathways into medical care or other services when required.
