Happy Mid-Autumn festival.

Mid-Autumn Festival became an official celebration in China during the Tang Dynasty (618-907 CE) and to celebrate a good harvest.

The round cakes are gifted and shared with family, friends and business acquaintances to symbolize reunion each year on the 15th day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar.

The oft used "once in a blue moon" is because this event happens rarely or infrequently. For the moon to be this bright again apparently will be in ten years time (I need a new phone with better camera).

Queen Elizabeth II (21 April 1926 - 8 Sept 2022), by the Grace of God, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and of her other realms and territories Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith, who served as she promised on the day of her coronation (6 Feb 1952). God save the King!
