At St. Francis', we understand how important wellbeing is in helping students thrive academically and emotionally.
Our Pastoral Hub provides a calm and welcoming space for students of all ages. They can speak with our wonderful Pastoral Support Officer, take some quiet time or visit Molly, our much-loved school wellbeing dog. πΎ
Molly belongs to Mrs Spence and joins us at the College every day during term time. Her presence can make a real difference to both pupils and staff.
Spending time with a wellbeing dog can help students to:
β
Feel more confident
β
Manage anxiety
β
Build motivation
β
Improve school attendance
β
Develop personal and social skills
The Pastoral Hub helps every student feel supported and able to thrive. π

At St. Francis' Prep School, every child is known and valued. Our small classes create a caring environment where pupils feel comfortable speaking to staff about anything that may be worrying them.
Personal Development is taught every week and is supported through assemblies, the School Council and opportunities to take on responsibility. Pupils are encouraged to share their ideas and play an active role in school life.
Our DREAMS values of Determination, Resilience, Empowerment, Appreciation, Motivation and Security are woven throughout each child's experience. These values help pupils develop the confidence and life skills they will need for the future.
From Form Captains and Eco Committee members to House Captains and Prefects, pupils can take on roles that allow them to contribute to the school community.
At St. Francis' Prep School, we nurture the whole child and support every pupil to fulfil their individual potential.
