Deepfakes can make it appear that someone has said or done something they haven’t, using AI to create increasingly convincing fake images, videos and audio.

As this technology becomes easier to access, children and young people may encounter risks ranging from online bullying and impersonation to scams and fabricated explicit content.

• Fabricated images and videos
• Extortion and digital blackmail

It also offers practical advice for parents and educators on recognising warning signs, protecting personal information and talking to young people about responsible AI use.

This week’s Dish of the Week goes to Vinnie C in Year 11, who has cooked up a delicious pan-fried salmon with chimichurri sauce, asparagus and home-made bread.

Our Year 11 Catering students have their final practical exams after half term so are fine tuning and perfecting their skills in preparation. The more skills the students show in their dishes, the more marks they will gain.

Well done Vinnie, on the great ex*****on of this dish! Your hard work and cooking skills have really shone through
