Take a look at our June & July Newsletter, sharing just a few of the lovely moments the children have enjoyed over the last couple of months ✨🌞
A message to everyone ❤️-
As another nursery year comes to an end, we just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of our wonderful families. Thank you for your continued support, for trusting us with your children and for working alongside us every step of the way. We know how important the partnership between home and nursery is, and we really do appreciate everything you do.
To all of our children who are moving on, whether that's to a new nursery or starting Reception, we are so proud of every single one of you. Some of you have been with us since you were two years old, while others joined us more recently, but every child has become a special part of our nursery family 🥰
It has been such a privilege to watch you grow in confidence, make new friends, overcome challenges and celebrate so many achievements. Watching each child develop into the amazing little person they are today is exactly why we love what we do.
To our children starting school, we wish you all the luck in the world as you begin your next adventure. We know you'll all do amazingly and can't wait to hear how you're getting on. To those moving to a new room or setting, we hope you enjoy every minute of your new adventure too.
Finally, thank you again to all of our families for another fantastic year. We hope you all have a wonderful summer and filled with fun. We can't wait to welcome many of you back in September!
We’re looking forward to making the most of our final few days together and celebrating with you all at our end of term party tomorrow ❤🎉

As some of our children get ready to start school this September, we wanted to share a helpful School Readiness guide with you ❤
This document has been created by Herts for Learning and is also being used by many of our local primary schools.
It provides useful information about the skills and experiences that can help children feel confident as they begin their school journey.
Please remember that every child develops at their own pace. School readiness isn't about children being able to do everything perfectly before they start school.
It is about supporting them to become confident, independent and ready to embrace new experiences in their own way 🥰
We hope you find the guide helpful ✨

Our Caterpillars are almost now all chrysalises! 🦋
Over the last couple of weeks, we have loved watching our caterpillars grow from tiny caterpillars into chrysalises. The children have been fascinated by each stage of their transformation ✨
The children have even named them!
Two-Year Room: Elsa & Anna
Nursery Room: Butter & Narla
Main House: Flower, Unicorn, Planty, Dicey, Peggy, Paris & Sunny
Did you know? Inside the chrysalis, the caterpillar is transforming into a butterfly through a process called metamorphosis. Soon, beautiful butterflies will emerge!
We can’t wait to see what happens next ❤️

Thank you to everyone who came along to our Father’s Day & Special Person Stay and Play this morning ❤️
This is always one of our favourite events of the year. It provides children with an opportunity to share their nursery environment with the important people in their lives, helping to strengthen connections between home and nursery ✨
It was lovely to see so many special people joining in with activities, spending time together, and experiencing a little part of the children’s day with us 🥰

We wanted to share this helpful resource from the Speech and Language Therapy Team.
At nursery, we use the FOLLOW approach to support children’s communication and language development through everyday interactions, play and following children’s interests.
This short webinar explains the approach and shares practical ideas to help support communication in young children ❤️

Some of the simplest experiences can be the most engaging 🌿✨
Whether it’s adding a calming bubble lamp, refreshing our mud kitchen or introducing new sensory experiences, we are constantly reflecting on our spaces and making small changes that support children’s play, exploration and wellbeing.
Sometimes it’s the little details that make all the difference ❤️
