๐๐ ECLIPSE EXPLORERS! ๐๐
A little bit of science + a little bit of language learning = a BilinguaSing adventure! ๐โจ
Why not make your own pinhole camera and explore how an eclipse works?
๐ญ Youโll need:
๐ 2 pieces of white card
๐ A pin or needle
โ๏ธ A sunny day!
How to make it:
1๏ธโฃ Make a tiny hole in the centre of one piece of card.
2๏ธโฃ Hold the card with the hole above a second piece of card.
3๏ธโฃ Let the sunlight shine through the tiny hole.
4๏ธโฃ Look at the image projected onto the second card! ๐
And while youโre exploring, letโs learn the word ECLIPSE in our BilinguaSing languages:
๐ช๐ธ Eclipse โ eclipse
๐ซ๐ท รclipse โ รฉclipse
๐ฉ๐ช Sonnenfinsternis โ solar eclipse
๐ฎ๐น Eclissi โ eclissi
A fun way to introduce little ones to science, languages and the world around them! ๐๐
โ ๏ธ Sun safety: Never look directly at the Sun, including through a homemade pinhole camera. For viewing an actual eclipse, always follow official solar-safety guidance and use appropriate certified solar viewing equipment.

Being able to make themselves understood in another language will have such a POSITIVE IMPACT on your child's overall confidence & self-esteem. Imagine the feeling of accomplishment that comes with the first time theyโre understood on holiday! ๐
And youโll soon find this new-found self-confidence impacts other areas of their learning, too. ๐
