Most regulation work happens outside of dysregulation.

Helping children build emotional regulation skills when they are calm gives them tools they can draw on when big feelings come along. 💛

The Shetland Family Centre are delighted to collaborate with the Shetland Library to encourage and support a love of reading from an early age with our Peep groups.

Sharing stories, exploring books and making reading part of everyday family life can have a lasting impact on children's language, communication, confidence and imagination.

By working together, we hope to help families build positive reading habits from the very beginning. 📚💛
