BAMBEENIES IS CLOSING ITS DOORS FOR THE FINAL TIME
The end of an era… and what an incredible 14 years it has been!
After 14 wonderful years, the time has come for me to close this chapter of my business, and the website has now officially closed.
It’s quite hard to put into words what those 14 years have meant. I have absolutely loved being part of so many families’ journeys — meeting their little people, watching them grow, learn, gain confidence and thrive, and in many cases watching those tiny people turn into not-so-tiny people!
Over the years, the business even stretched beyond Shetland, with classes running in Orkney and Ellon, and I’m so grateful to the brilliant staff who made those chapters possible. And, of course, a very special thank you to the lovely staff who have worked alongside me here in Shetland. I’ve been incredibly lucky to have people who cared about the children and the classes just as much as I did.
To every family who has come through our doors — thank you. Thank you for trusting us with your little people and coming back class after class and year after year.
Many of you will know that over the last few years I went back to studying, completing my degree and then my postgraduate teaching qualification. Teaching has taken me in a new direction, and it’s somewhere I am genuinely loving being.
For a while now, the business has fitted around school, with holiday sessions continuing when I could. The time has now come to make that change permanent, and our regular and holiday classes will now come to an end.
But it’s not goodbye to everything!
Inferno Dance will absolutely continue, and I’m hoping to run some holiday dance workshops too — because I’m definitely not ready to hang up my dancing shoes just yet!
So, after 14 years, it really is just a huge THANK YOU.
Thank you for the laughs, the chaos, the friendships and the memories. Thank you to every child, family and member of staff who has been part of the journey.
Most of all, thank you for allowing me to be a little part of so many childhoods. What an absolute privilege that has been. ❤️
14 years, countless memories and a whole lot of little people who aren’t so little anymore! Here’s to the next chapter. ✨
