A lovely review from livery & client Stella - it’s great to see the partnership forming between these two 💞❤️
“I’ve been having lessons with Alex for about 6/7 weeks now. Just one lesson a week.
We moved to Alex’s yard at the end of January and I turned up with a horse I was filled with nerves and anxiety over riding.
I’ve owned Koda for 3 years this year and we’ve had A LOT of medical issues with kissing spine surgery, tendon issues, ulcers etc which has resulted in several bad falls for me and totally knocked my ability to ride him.
I explained all of this to Alex and Sarah when I moved here and they both suggested having lessons with Alex so I figured I may as well give it a go. Here I am 2 months later with a horse that I now happily walk, trot, canter and jump who is now really beginning to listen and want to school and learn new things.
I cannot thank Alex enough for the understanding, support & lessons she is giving me. My horse is the happiest and most settled he’s ever been and I am finally enjoying him.
I would recommend lessons with Alex to anyone who is even vaguely considering it. I’ve entered a whole new world now thanks to her kindness and support. Long may it continue 💕💕🐎”

🌟I have some availability for lessons at our yard nr Pembridge🌟
🤗Flatwork, polework or jumping, catering to a wide range of abilities and ages.
😇Brilliant with tricky horses and riders with confidence issues.
💪 Establishing a solid foundation of basics so that horses work correctly.
💞Creating a mutual understanding between horse & rider.
🤔Understanding how horses think - I look for the ‘why’ behind tricky behaviours instead of jumping straight to forceful techniques.

Hi everyone! 👋 Alex here!
I’ve decided to set up a page dedicated to my coaching. Any shares would be greatly appreciated as I get it up and running!
So, a bit about my instructing:
I teach from our home yard nr Pembridge Marston Grange Equestrian 🏡
I am a fully insured instructor & BHS qualified.
I’ve helped lots of riders with tricky horse, confidence issues, training problems, or just general fine tuning. I have also worked with a lot of young riders who seem to love my way of teaching! 🤩
I teach low-mid level SJ, flatwork, and polework. 🏆
When teaching, I strive for a mutual respect & understanding between horse and rider 💞
I help riders build a solid foundation to build from, using lots of ‘basics’ and the scales of training, to ensure that horses are working correctly.
I incorporate natural horsemanship principles into riding to create a willing partnership. Horses should love their work as much as we do! 🥰 I take inspiration from traditional riders and trainers and don’t believe in taking any shortcuts in training.
I work to find the ‘why’ behind every problem with horses, and after working with countless tricky horses, I truly believe that there is no such thing as a ‘naughty’ horse.
I think I could write all day about training principles but will stop there to save you from boredom 🥱😂
I am also currently launching a young rider academy - I aspire to coach the next generation of passionate horsemanship! 🐴❤️
