Busy, busy toddlers 🙂

What a hive of activity it was upstairs this morning! Children, mums, dads and staff enjoyed a range of sensory play activities. The delicious scents of peppermint dough and citrus fruits filled the air as they snipped, rolled, squeezed, splashed and shovelled. All of the activities are suitable to do at home using stuff from the cupboards. Thank you mummy’s and daddy’s for coming to play. 😊

We are seeking a couple of exceptional people to join our winning team at Bargates Nursery in September 2026. Whether you are a qualified Early Years Practitioner looking to further your career or are hoping to develop skills, knowledge and a qualification through training, we would like to hear from you. We have a temporary position available to cover maternity leave as well as a permanent position. How lucky we were with the weather today for our Sports Day! We had running, egg and spoon, bean bag and obstacle races and then the mums and dads raced too! Everyone was a winner and everyone was presented with a medal. Then the rain came! We had a lovely time cheered on by our lovely families. Thank you for coming.

What fun we had this morning at The Secret Garden planting our flowers in The Very Hungry Caterpillar. The Leominster in Bloom ladies gave us such a lovely time. They read us a story, set up an exciting scavenger hunt and helped us with the planting. Then we had a snack and came away with a lovely little home-made treat bag. Thank you so much. It was perfect!

This morning Nursery 2 children took a walk to Philpotts Nursery. They enjoyed choosing and paying for their plants and having a little ride in the trolley. 🌹🌺🌼

Well done to all the children and parents who are embracing ‘Walk to Nursery’ week. The children are so excited to receive a sticker for their chart each time they walk from home or ‘park and walk’ from Morrisons or the Co-op and are looking forward to receiving their prize.
