A huge thank you to Sizewell Hall Christian Conference Centre for hosting our fantastic Year 5 camping trip last week. The children had an unforgettable experience filled with adventure, learning and fun!
We would also like to thank Seahawks: Fish & Chips for the delicious lunch, which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone, and our wonderful parent helpers who generously gave up their time to support the trip. Your help with setting up, taking down and sharing your skills and knowledge made such a difference, and we are incredibly grateful.

As another incredible school year comes to an end, we would like to say a huge thank you to our wonderful school community. 🏫✨

🥁🌟 What an incredible evening for our Year 6 pupils!🌟🥁

Last night, our amazing Year 6 children proudly represented Leiston Primary School with a bucket drumming performance on the main stage at Snape Maltings, led by the fantastic Mrs Gleeson from the Leiston Education Partnership. 🎶👏

Performing in front of hundreds of people was no small feat, and they absolutely rose to the challenge! We received so much wonderful feedback from other schools and members of the audience about their energy, teamwork and outstanding performance. 💙⭐

It was a long day and a late night, but every single pupil gave their all and worked together to deliver something truly exceptional. We couldn't be prouder! 👏🎉

🏕️🌟 Our Year 5 children are having an amazing time on their camping adventure! They've been enjoying lots of fun activities, making wonderful memories, and developing their teamwork, resilience and independence along the way. 🌿🔥

A huge thank you to all of the staff who have worked so hard to organise and support this fantastic opportunity. Your time, enthusiasm and dedication have made this a truly special experience for our children. 💙👏

Thank you so much for inviting us to be part of the launch RSPB Minsmere! 🌿💚 Our children had an absolutely fantastic time exploring the amazing new play area and loved every minute. Thank you to all the wonderful RSPB Minsmere volunteers and staff for such a memorable experience—we can't wait to visit again! 🦋🐞🎉

💦🔬 Year 2 have taken on the Super Soakers Challenge! 🔬💦

The children investigated which material absorbs the most water and discovered that different materials have different properties that affect how well they absorb liquid.

They asked some fantastic scientific questions, including:

* 🤔 Does a paper towel absorb more water if it is scrunched up?

* 📏 Does the size of the material change the results?

* 🧽 Is one side of a sponge more absorbent than the other?

After their investigation, the children used the materials to create prints, patterns and textures 🎨✨

Amazing curiosity, teamwork and scientific thinking from Year 2 – well done everyone! 👏🌟
