Baroness Lucy Faithfull has been honoured with Oxfordshire’s first Blue Plaque of 2026, for being a leading advocate and champion of children's rights.

Our Director, Adrian McNulty, was proud to attend and speak at the unveiling ceremony on 9 May alongside fellow dignitaries, celebrating Lucy’s inspirational work — from her influence on the Children Act 1989 to founding our charity in 1992.

Lucy was ahead of her time, recognising that protecting children means working with those at risk of harming them — a belief that still challenges society today.
