Recently Pre-School have taken a real interest in exploring οΏΌmultiple messy plays... πππ
Today the children chose to explore different coloured paint mixed with shaving foam. π¨
After coving our hands in βpink foamβ we found it very amusing giving our friends high fives π Itβs fair to say the ceiling/walls had a slight makeover! ππ₯°ππΌ

Today we got to meet baby Freddie and welcomed Amy back for her first visit since having baby number two... Theyβre both doing amazingly!

I popped into every room this morning and captured lots of brilliant activities going on... πΈ
π Our Baby Room were having the best time exploring couscous with cups and spoons, so yummy!
π The Little Toddler room were having a splashing time in the water whilst smelling beautiful flowers!
π Our Big Toddler children were practicing their fine motor skills whilst threading with Cheerios!
π₯° Pre-School loved getting messy with paint, they really enjoyed hand printing and discovering what sea animals they could find in our large water tray!
π Our Baby Room were having the best time exploring couscous with cups and spoons, so yummy!

Polite reminderβ¦ π§΄π
Please make sure your little one has sun cream on before arriving to nursery and the named bottled is left in their bag for top ups throughout the day. (I know some will be using nursery cream, donβt panic we have lots) π Please also make sure your child has a named sun hat too!
Itβs very important we work together to keep your little ones safe in this heat whilst still getting to enjoy garden play at appropriate times, thank you βοΈ

Hi my name is Stevie, I started my Footsteps journey in 2014 as a parent and more recently as part of the Footsteps team! I am Level 2 qualified and am currently studying my Level 3 in childcare to progress further with my career. π
Working with children has always been my goal, growing up I was OBSESSED with stationary and wanted to be a teacher. I have worked in various Early Years settings for almost 12 years now and am very passionate about my job, the children, and helping them reach their milestones. I want to continue to progress in learning about additional needs once I complete my Level 3 qualification. I completed my SENCO training as my youngest brother was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD. This made me want to understand him better and to be able to offer him support. This is something Iβm really passionate about.
When I'm not working I am caring for my three girls aged 5-11, 3 rabbits, 2 hamsters and seven fish... Who likes resting anyways π€£
I am an active person, I enjoy creative activities with children and love any physical activities with them too! Iβm currently in the Big Toddler room and Iβm really enjoying getting to know everyone at the moment. Canβt wait to see where my footsteps journey takes me ππππ£
