As we move into a new week, it's time to plan ahead, with the aim of working towards our goals.

10/07/2023

Learning something new is always challenging. If things haven't gone quite to plan with your driving goals, reflect on what you learned from those challenges and use that to keep going.

Are you confident with the task ahead?

Use the 3Ps to help you.

Prepare. Make sure you have prepared fully.
Prediction. Try to predict what might happen and how you will act on that information.
Priority. When you have to work on parts that will make you more confident in the task, prioritise which ones you will do first to make you more confident.

Another favorite podcast. So many lightbulb moments, and thoughts during the recording. It's a must-listen, not just driver related but in life in general. Enjoy and would love to know your takeaways from this episode.

Have you ever thought about hitting the quit button?
If you have, and I am sure everyone has at one stage or another, just remember the reason you started.
This gives you the motivation to continue. You might want to re-evaluate but never quit. Keep going. You started it for a reason and when you get to the end, you will be so glad you never hit the quit button.
Have a great day everyone 🙂

Monday Motivation

So, as we approach the end of the first 6 months of the year, give yourself time to reflect on how far you have come, what you have achieved, and what you want to achieve in the next 6 months of the year.

You might need to re-evaluate or work on something different but always think of the end goal. It is from this thought that you can move forward. The path or journey might deviate but the end destination will never change.

Happy Monday everyone

🎙 New Podcast Episode Alert!
In this episode, Kev and Tracey explore the topic of stress, what causes it and why we all experience it differently.

We chat about:
* Stress means different things to different people
* Stress occurs when there is a gap between what someone needs to do and what they believe they are capable of
* We only feel stressed about the things we care about

While listening to this episode, ask yourself:
* What causes you to feel stressed in driving situations?
* How do you build confidence when facing a new challenge?
* Can you think of an example of a situation where you didn't care about the outcome and therefore didn't feel stressed?

Wednesday Reminder!

Whatever you are doing today, don't forget to stop and take a slow, gentle, deep breath in.

It doesn't have to be for a long time, just make sure you give yourself this time to consciously breathe. Take time to reset. It is something that we often forget to do, but this is so easy to do and that might be the reason we forget.

Notice what you notice. Where did you feel your breath? How did you feel when you took those breaths? Did you breathe in through your nose or mouth?
Let me know how you got on 🙂

Tuesday!

Don't forget to have a great day!
Yesterday was yesterday and today is the start of another day. You have the power of choice to make it great.
Enjoy and be thankful for all that happens today 🙂

Happy Monday!

Mondays are often seen as the worst day of the week. We have to leave behind the fun and relaxation of the weekend and face the reality of work and responsibilities. We may feel tired, stressed, or bored by what awaits us.

But what if we could change our perspective on Mondays? What if we could see them as an opportunity to start fresh, set new goals, to embrace new challenges? What if we could greet Mondays with enthusiasm and optimism?

That's what I want to invite you to do today. Smile on Monday and see what happens. Maybe you'll notice some positive changes in your mood, your energy, and your productivity. Maybe you'll inspire others to smile too. Maybe you'll discover some hidden joys in your routine.

Mondays don't have to be a drag, you can choose to make them awesome. And I'm here to cheer you on!

Have a fantastic day 😊

Self-development so I can help others.

People ask me why I do courses, research subjects (not so much), or develop what I already do? well, the answer is simple.

It is so I can help others become better, improve, and change their current situation. If I don't invest time in myself, how can I help people in the best possible way?

It is all about the bigger goal of helping others reach their goals and not so much about me. I have to say I do love what I do because it is all related to my values of helping others 🙂

17/05/2023

Another busy day today. Heading into London for a PR training day

16/05/2023

Today's plan is to teach people, inspire them and motivate them.

What does that mean?

I will teach people to become more self-aware. Teaching new ways of thinking and working that they choose are the best way to learn.

Inspire them to believe in their own ability, Inspire them to become better than they were before we started. Inspire them to be the best version of themselves.

Motivate them to see the end goal. Motivate them to want to achieve that goal. Motivate them so they can feel they are moving towards that goal.

It is all about my students and clients today and has always been. Sometimes I just need to remind myself of this.

Have a great day everyone 🙂

How lucky are you?

This text is from an online search I did. It's about luck and how different people see it. Some people say luck is just a matter of chance, while others say it is a matter of attitude. If you feel lucky, then you are. If you don't know, try keeping track of all the good things that happen to you and see if there is a trend.

I believe that the more you practice, the more you do, the higher your chances of success. If you take ten shots, the more shots you take, the more likely you are to score.

Am I lucky? I think so, but it is probably because I have put in a lot of effort to get where I want to be and yes, I have faced failures along the way, but I have also overcome them.

I am curious to know what you think about this subject.

10/05/2023

Hi there, I hope you're doing well. I was thinking about a chat I had earlier and I wanted to follow up with you. How do you feel about AI and its impact on our profession as coaches?
AI stands for artificial intelligence, which is the ability of machines to perform tasks that normally require human intelligence, such as seeing, understanding, and translating languages, analyzing data, making decisions, and more. AI does this by processing information from its environment and choosing its actions based on what it learns or senses.
Do you think AI will help us or hinder us in our work? Are you open to using AI tools or do you prefer to rely on your own skills and experience?
I'm curious to know your opinion.

Deadlines!

How does having a deadline or deadlines affect you?

Some people actually need deadlines to get something done. They find having a date to complete a task useful as it gives them structure and they know when it needs to be done. They use the time available to make sure they stay on track. This in turn gives them the feeling of being in control.

Some people find that having a deadline becomes stressful. They have so many other things to do that the pressure to complete by a certain date or time gives them a feeling of overwhelm. There are my normal tasks and life, and now we have added a deadline which is making me stressed and unable to think rationally.

Others may find that with a deadline it can be left alone until nearer the date it has to be done. "I don't need to worry about that yet as I have other things to do", is a common phrase. The deadline then comes around and they find themselves rushing, making mistakes, and panicking that they won't be able to complete on time.

When you are faced with a deadline, take time to think about how you will complete the task. What will work best for me? What else is going on in my life that might have an impact on my deadline? What steps can I put in place that are going to help give me the best chance of completing on time and up to a standard?

If you need any help or want to chat further then you can always get in touch.

Have a great day 🙂
