Just a reminder that Xmas card orders need to be in by tomorrow to ensure that you can get your packs back in time 🎅🏻🎄

The Xmas cards have arrived! We will be handing them out with the children this week; please fill out the form on the back of the envelope with cash payment and return to playgroup by no later Wednesday 10th November.
Remember there’s not just cards that you can purchase, you can also buy gift tags, wrapping paper and other items with your child’s image on! 🎄🎅🏻

The children at Bluebells & Little Bluebells have been making their own Christmas cards! 🎄🎅🏻☃️ packs should be with us after half term when we will hand out each child’s sample pack with an order form. The cards along with other purchasable items will help raise some funds for the playgroups. We can’t wait to see the finished products! 🥰

Bluebells in Linslade is open through the half term, offering places for children from 18months. You do not have to be registered to apply for a place, forms will be provided.

We are now collecting the Morrison's It's Good to Grow tokens! We are renovating our allotment in our main site and these tokens will enable us to buy gardening equipment for the children. With a MyMorrisons
account, collect Grow Tokens when you shop online or in store and donate them to our

Children born between 01/09/17 and 31/08/18 are due to start school in September 2022.

Parents/ carers need to make an application to CBC by 15 January 2022, even if their child attends a nursery/pre-school on the school site.

Due to an increase in demand across our After School Clubs, we are looking for people to join our teams in Leighton Middle, Brooklands and Gilberts. Hi,

Over the weekend we have been overwhelmed by our communities generosity and Dunkirk Spirit, some of which has reduced our volunteers to tears. So we wish to turn those tears to smiles and welcome the families from Afganistan with more than clothes donations. We would like to launch our Care in a Card Welcome. So we are inviting all of our community to send in a card or a drawing to welcome these families to our community.

We are therefore asking that everyone shares this post so we can reach as many people as possible.

Today is the end of many chapters at Bluebell Childcare, this week we have said goodbye to children from After School Clubs and our Pre-schools. It’s been a privilege for us to be part of your lives.

We also mark the end of an era by saying a goodbye to Sky. Sky has been the glue that kept us together through rocky times, always providing sensible and positive solutions and lots of paperwork.

Sky you are an awesome lady, we wish you all the very best, we are so proud of you and very lucky to have had you as a huge part of Bluebells for so long. My life has been so much better for having you.

Good luck and best wishes to all of our leavers.

Good morning all.
I am pleased to announce that following a risk assessment with Public Health and Advice from our Childcare Development Officer and Covid Helpline, Bluebell Playgroup can reopen on Monday. Please check your emails if you child attends Bluebell Playgroup, I will be sending details out to all families. I will also text to advise when the email has been sent. Please contact me on [email protected] if you do not receive your email or have any concerns. Any close contacts have been notified already.
Please ensure your information is up to date as we may have further update if our circumstances change.

Bluebell Pre-school in linslade is closed tomorrow Friday 16th July following confirmation of a positive Covid test. The staff member was only in for a short period outside on Monday (she’s fine). Close contacts have been notified but we will take advice before we confirm reopening next week. Apologies for the huge inconvenience.

Our after school club in Leighton Middle reopens today, Brooklands After School Club reopens tomorrow.

Little Bluebells ASC made cards, fridge magnets, banjos and clay coasters for all the special Dads and Grandads for Fathers Day.

Lots of Butterflies are appearing at Big Bluebell’s - but we are still waiting for our chrysalis to hatch 🐛 🦋

Bluebells (southcott site) have also been ‘growing’ butterflies and today 3 of them hatched! The children are enjoying seeing the transformation from caterpillars to chrysalides and watching the butterflies emerge 🐛🦋

The caterpillars have now all become chrysalis and have been moved into the net to wait for the butterflies to emerge - exciting 🤩🐛🦋
