The children have loved exploring our local environment, discovering dandelions to blow and searching for the biggest sticks to help decorate our garden. They have each planted their own sunflowers to take home, and recently we repurposed some pallets into planters filled with tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries, and wildflowers, which are now beginning to sprout. ๐ŸŒฑ

The children are excited to help care for the plants each day by watering them and watching them grow over time. We are looking forward to using some of our homegrown produce in our healthy snacks soon! ๐Ÿฅ’๐Ÿ“

The children and I went for a walk to collect dandelions, after a short walk, we found lots, perfect for making our biscuits! Once we got home, the children helped to measure and mix the ingredients, and were very keen to try them.
Dandelions are not only easy to find but are also rich in vitamins, minerals, and fibre! ๐ŸŒผ
