Richard hails from Leighton Buzzard and trained for three years at Laine Theatre Arts in Epsom. On graduating he appeared in Fame, Cats, Chicago, Mamma Mia! and Blood Brothers, amongst other other fabulous musicals and of course Panto’s! Richard now has his own theatre school - Musical Theatre High! Academy back in his home town and converted an old chapel into a community space for local groups and events called The Recreation Rooms.

Musical Theatre High! Academy for all the community, offering different classes for all ages

The Academy focuses on putting together a showcase at the end of each term and a Variety Performance once a year for family, friends and the public to enjoy. Every week will vary, one week may focus on a song with movement, another week staging an acting piece all gearing up to the end of term performance. The Academy not only teaches theatre skills but also to work as a team, building confidence

I Ran The London Marathon!!!

Well that was the most intense liberating experience of my life!

I RAN THE LONDON MARATHON!

We raised nearly £2500 for Rosie May Foundation and we are beyond thrilled. Thank you to everyone who donated so generously.

🏃‍♂️💨 A week today I run the London Marathon for the Academy’s affiliated charity Rosie May Foundation. 💜💜💜

I have followed the training plan and worked it round a busy life doing 4 runs a week for the past 15 weeks. I’ll miss it but will be nice to run and not feel the pressure!
