Overstone Combined School Spring / Summer Fete is returning to the school grounds on Friday 15th May 17:00 - 19:30/20:00

We’re hoping to improve on the success of last year’s event with a similar vibe of food vendors, music, drinks, face painting, stalls etc.

This is not just a school event but a whole Community event. Please join us for an evening of fun and good vibes!

Free tables and chairs.
Would anyone like some school tables and chairs? We have about 30 tables and 60 chairs that are free to a good home. They are sturdy and could be used for a variety of purposes. You can take as many (or as few) as you would like.

Exciting News from Overstone Combined School

We’re thrilled to share that we will be opening 'The Orchard' – our brand new Communication and Interaction (Autism) Unit in the Autumn term. This is a dedicated, nurturing space designed to support, teach and celebrate our incredible learners.

To help make The Orchard as welcoming and enriching as possible, we’re reaching out to our wonderful community. We’re currently looking for donations of good quality/condition:
- Toys, games, puzzles
- Sensory or educational equipment
- Soft furnishings – cushions, blankets
- Storage boxes or garage racking
If you’d prefer to help in another way, we would also gratefully accept:
- Financial donations
- Sponsorship of specific equipment or resources
- Any leads on grants or sponsorship opportunities you may be involved in

Every little bit helps us create a welcoming, inclusive space where children can feel calm, supported and inspired to learn. So if you have anything you would be willing to donate, Thank you!

Overstone Combined School PTFA is pleased to announce that it is donating £10,000 of fundraised money to purchase Chromebooks and iPads for the children to use in school.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate 175 years of primary education in Wing!

Our amazing children—supported by dedicated staff—put on a stunning display of drama, dance, artwork, and historical presentations that truly wowed our visitors. It was fantastic to welcome so many families and members of the local community, and to also hear many wonderful memories of school days gone by.

The afternoon was beautifully rounded off with songs from our talented school choir, accompanied by delicious cream teas kindly donated by a local resident and served by the fantastic Overstone PTA.

Thank you for helping make this such a memorable occasion!

Does anyone have any photos of the original primary school in Wing before it was pulled down and rebuilt in 1997?
This appears to be the only one that is online, which had been taken during the demolition.
We would love to see any photos you have.
