Congratulations to Ella, Juliette, Isla, Hannah and Maia. They were absolute rock stars last night, performing at Beds Band Factory sponsored by TTRockStars and Twinwood Festival. They opened the second act.

Judges commented that our entry 'Unforgiven' had a very retro vibe and they played really well and in time. The band was well rehearsed with good energy from the drummer (Isla). It was a very confident performance and the singer's voices (Ella and Maia) really complimented each other. The band had a clear sense of style and the lyrics were also very clear (not always easy when using a mic!)

The overall winners were Goldington Academy who were phenomenal, however it was incredible to see so much talent and for our pupils to be part of this event. Our pupils performed alongside older pupils from Upper and Secondary schools and were extremely strong contenders. There was also a really strong sense of camaraderie where everyone cheered on all the competitors and it was such a fun way to spend a Thursday night.

We were then privileged to invite our community to share in the experience of the Energy Live Show after school. Filled with lots of fire, bangs and whooshes the children (and adults) enjoyed a fantastic display with SOME learning."
